Jin is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne, where he specialises in studying the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Jin earned his PhD from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where he developed a strong foundation in biomedical sciences.
When pried away from the lab bench, Jin enjoys the occasional gin with a side of critical race theory, often exploring the intersections of culture and identity, particularly in relation to his Malaysian heritage.
